The Better Healthcare team rounded up 2018 with our annual manager’s meeting, staff Christmas party and Better Healthcare Awards last Friday. 2018 was a big year for all, so this day was an opportunity to get our staff together to reflect, recognise and celebrate everyone’s efforts.
We began the day by gathering all of our managers and directors to discuss all the positive achievements in 2018 and discuss our plans for 2019.
Next, our Christmas party saw staff from all over the country head to London to celebrate the year’s achievements in style.
The highlight of the evening was the 2018 Better Healthcare Awards. A huge congratulation goes to our Brighton office for Office of the Year, making this their fourth consecutive win.
Home Care Division of the Year went to Live-In, and the London team won Healthcare Office of the year. Healthcare Consultant of the Year was awarded to Tammy Day from our Norwich Office and Home Care Individual of the Year was awarded to Anna Korpas, Business Development Manager for the Live-In Division.
The Rising Star of 2018 went to Anna-May Carey who joined BHC in 2017 as an apprentice in our London office. On completion of her apprenticeship in 2018, Anna-May became a Trainee Consultant and since winning this prestigious award on Friday has been promoted to Healthcare Consultant. Support Person of the Year went to Emma Maddox, our apprentice in Bedford, who is doing an outstanding job supporting our care team. It takes a lot to gain the achievements we have today, and we thank each and every one of them for their dedication.
Finally, the award for Outstanding Contribution over 10 Years went to Olga Touati from the Ipswich Healthcare team. Everyone at Better Healthcare thanks you for your dedicated service.
The team worked incredibly hard last year to support our care team to ensure we provide excellent care and quality service. We look forward to watching all our divisions continue to grow and flourish in 2019.
