Home Care

Providing support and care at home and making home feel like home again.

Bringing quality care into your home

Unlike a residential home where many individuals have to be considered, care at home is a personal service that is tailored to meet the needs of the individual in the comfort of their own home.

Better Healthcare Services offers a full spectrum of home care services ranging from short half-hour visits to around the clock care, ensuring we bring kindness, compassion, comfort, independence and peace of mind to all our Service Users.

We provide an affordable and caring solution for those that need additional help at home whether it be for the companionship of those that find difficulty with their daily activities, which may be due to illness, mobility, disability. We bring an unrivalled understanding approach to encourage and empower you to maintain a dignified independent quality of life in your own home.

As a multi-branch organisation, we have strong head office support, ensuring our care staff are freed up from administrative tasks and can concentrate on the key duties of delivering care.

We will monitor your individual needs and respond with arrangements to suit and fit in around your normal routine, with the assurance that there is total flexibility to change, increase or decrease the hours or days.

As a private company and not beholden to shareholders, we have greater flexibility to invest in our services, particularly in the critical areas of staff recruitment and retention and ongoing training. On-going performance will be audited informally by means of frequent contact with you. We offer on-going training and supervision to staff to ensure that high standards are firstly put in place and then maintained and Managers will perform regular spot checks.

From our CQC report (Norwich Branch)

During our inspection we spoke with six people who used the service or with the spouse. People told us that the care and support was good. One person said, “I can’t fault them, I have had absolutely no complaints whatsoever.” Another person we spoke with said the care provided, “Is very good, the carers are excellent and a real help.” One person we spoke with, who was new to the service, told us, “They asked me lots of questions about the care I needed before it started and so far (after just over a week) I am very happy with them. My carer is very helpful and friendly.”

Our Care Workers

We know that the quality of care received is the most important thing. That is why we directly employ all our care workers, ensuring that the training of our carers and the care that they give is of the highest quality.

Our selection process and training ensures that our carers have empathy and understanding of the situation that those they care for find themselves in.

We understand that the key to providing good care is ensuring that the right carer assigned to the right job.

Our carers are always willing to go the extra mile, professional but always empathetic whilst fostering a genuine, caring approach at all times.
