The team is led by our Head of Clinical Operations and all our specialist staff undergo tailored training courses, such as End of Life, Tracheostomy Care and Peg Feeds. We source top-quality and appropriate qualified trainers, with clinical governance implemented for delegated nursing tasks.
We provide reliable carers with a dedicated Local Case Manager who will respond swiftly to any concerns. We provide continuity of care, which means should your carer take a holiday or fall ill we will provide you with a trained replacement. At Better Healthcare Services, we don’t wait for you to have a problem before solving it, we pro-actively monitor our carers, support and give ongoing training to ensure we offer the best possible services. We also avoid unnecessary hospital visits by responding to changing needs, collaboratively planning any changes, involving all those involved for a holistic multi-agency approach.
As a multi-branch/multi-division organisation, we have an innovative approach to service delivery, and we develop and maintain strong networks between branches, so we can distribute costs effectively and reduce prices for you. Our interconnectivity means that no matter where you are, you have access to all our services and a plan to keep you as healthy as possible. This can include social activities, that encourage self-improvement and independence, reducing pressure on the carers, which in turn allows us to lower costs for you.

Our complex specialist care is focused on you and we operate regular clinical governance and performance meetings, providing reports concerning clinical supervision of staff, serious incidents, training, patient satisfaction, implementation of NICE guidance and risk management.
Our specialist care staff are highly trained in caring for clients with a range of complex conditions, ranging from Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) to Cerebral Palsy to many other complexities. At Better Healthcare Services, we are prepared for all cases.
Once we receive your call, one of our specialist team managers or nurses will make a home or hospital visit to do an assessment. This is a no-obligation assessment and you will not be charged for this service.
- After your assessment, we will give you our competitive charges and detailed service plan.
- We will not hassle you to make a decision. We will answer any of your questions before you make any commitment to Better Healthcare Services. Once you’ve chosen Better Healthcare Services, we will work closely with your family, social services/CCG, GP and other relevant parties to develop your support plan.
- The initial assessment will take into account any concerns or requests from you. Care workers are then accurately matched based on the relevant knowledge/experience/ training and shared beliefs.
- We understand the importance of building a relationship with your team of carers. Therefore, we can arrange for you to meet your carer to ensure you are happy before they begin.
No two people are the same – we believe every client is unique. Therefore, we make it a top priority to listen and understand your needs, agreeing on a service best suited to you, your condition and lifestyle.
This then forms part of your care agreement, a document to outline how your care will be delivered and ensuring expectations are met.
Our scope of services is second to none; we believe that personal service is essential in making life more enjoyable and comfortable. Our 24-hour telephone on-call service operates seven days a week, 365 days a year to deal with any emergencies and there is always an experienced member of staff on call. We can even temporarily increase support if clients health deteriorates and agree upon changes to outcomes and timescales.
The ongoing performance will be audited informally by means of frequent contact with you. We offer ongoing training and supervision to staff to ensure that high standards are consistently put in place and then maintained. All our specialist care staff are trained on our robust clinical governance policies and inductions, procedures and refresher courses.
